Dental Imaging
The practice employs state of the art digital x ray imaging equipment to help us diagnose problems and plan your treatment.
This eliminates harmful processing chemicals and reduces the radiation dose by up to 90% compared to conventional film.
We have recently installed a panoral x ray machine with CT scanner which allows us to take 3D images of the dental structures. This allows us to detect any cysts or tumours at an early stage and assists us in planning your implant treatment.
The main treatment room has a combined LED operating light and digital camera, which can project magnified images of the teeth onto a flat screen monitor above the chair.
